About The Position

This role is more than just a daycare job; it's a journey focused on the health and safety of children. Housekeeping Aides are crucial to the success of the childcare center by maintaining organization and cleanliness, which allows children to learn and grow in their environment. As a Housekeeping Aide, you are responsible for keeping the building, classrooms, and playground in a clean, safe, and orderly condition, ensuring everything is fresh and working properly. You will also assist with seasonal decorations.

Requirements

• Comfortable working around children

• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements

Responsibilities

• Work to keep the building, classrooms, and playground in a clean, safe, orderly condition
• Completes janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and restrooms
• Gathers and empty trash
• Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls
• Clean restrooms and refill dispensers
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year
