We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Center Director to lead our Longwood, FL location. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who is committed to making a meaningful impact on children, families, and educators every day. Position Overview As a Center Director, you will provide strong leadership, ensure high-quality educational programming, and foster a positive, nurturing environment for children, families, and staff. You will serve as a trusted partner to parents, a mentor to teachers, and a leader within the community, helping bring the value of early childhood education to life.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience , preferably in early childhood education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (highly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of licensing standards, curriculum implementation, and best practices
  • Proven ability to develop, inspire, and retain staff
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Experience with budgeting, financial accountability, and enrollment growth preferred
  • Must meet all state-specific requirements for the role
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors
  • Must be able to sit, kneel, bend, and engage physically with children
  • Ability to see and hear well enough to ensure child safety
  • Childcare Center Leadership: 2 years (required)
  • Must currently hold a valid Florida Director Credential , maintain compliance with DCF and ELC regulations , and meet all state licensing and Level 2 background screening requirements

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain a team of high-quality educators
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, staff, and community partners
  • Ensure implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and best classroom practices
  • Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and support accreditation efforts
  • Conduct tours for prospective families and oversee enrollment processes
  • Create and implement local marketing strategies to drive enrollment growth
  • Support teachers with curriculum planning and weekly program execution
  • Monitor and manage the center’s financial performance and budget
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all children
  • Promote outstanding customer service and a positive center culture
