The Coordinator of Palisades Child Care Center provides support to the manager for business functions and all operational activities associated with the center. This includes, but is not limited to tuition payments, attendance management, scheduling, payroll, general business activities, personnel management, classroom activities, licensing and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Associates degree.
  • Previous administrative support experience.
  • Previous experience with daycare policies, regulations and administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.
  • BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 6 months of entering position.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Experience in education, childcare or a classroom environment.
  • Experience utilizing child care management programs.
  • Child Development Associate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage business operations, including meeting schedules, center tours and appointments.
  • Assume responsibility when the manager is not present or available.
  • Supervise the documentation of attendance.
  • Process tuition payments.
  • Coordinate the staffing schedule and payroll.
  • Assist in the maintenance of reports and documentation.
  • Support classroom activities as needed.
  • Assist in the development, planning and implementation of programs.
  • Maintains up-to-date departmental manuals, licensing information and files.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
