About The Position

A Brief Overview Care for children by creating a safe, developmentally appropriate environment that supports their physical, cognitive and emotional needs with hands on interaction. Build a partnership with families and co-workers to best support the children in our care. Attend to children at schools, businesses, private households, and childcare institutions. Perform a variety of tasks, such as dressing, feeding, bathing, and overseeing play. What you will do Daily care of the children. Diaper changing, potty training, preparing and serving meals and snacks. Providing supervision by hands on interaction with the children. Support Children's emotional and social development, encouraging positive behavior. Maintain a safe environment. Maintain a positive relationship with families. Maintaining Daily communication by enter daily care items into Procare Parent Engagement App. Recognize common childhood diseases. Recognize physical and emotional abuse. Collaborate with teaching staff. Take instruction from supervisors and Room Leads.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Basic Cardiac Life Support & First Aid - American Heart Association within 60 Days Required
Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services within 180 Days Required

Nice To Haves

H.S. Diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

Driver's License Preferred
Will become eligible to drive company shuttle van at age 21. If this is an expectation for the individual, a valid driver's license will be required then.
