About The Position
This position is for a Child Care Assistant Teacher at Exceptional Persons, Inc. (EPI), a recognized leader in providing quality early childhood education. The role involves working full-time, with opportunities available Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:15 am and 5:30 pm. As a Child Care Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and engaging atmosphere for children, staff, and families. You will work closely with the Coordinator and Lead Teachers to implement a curriculum that aligns with the center's philosophy and meets the developmental needs of the children. In this role, you will create and maintain a respectful and positive environment, demonstrating genuine interest and concern for the children. You will assist in preparing daily report sheets for each child and support the Lead Teacher in maintaining the required child/staff ratios. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving any issues that may arise with parents, staff, or children, ensuring a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
