Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree or CDA certification preferred.
• 1 year experience working with children a must.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ensuring the delivery of a quality before and/or afterschool program that complies with all NJ Office of Licensing and Child Care Division requirements.
• Assist in supervising staff in a supportive and developmental manner.
• Encourage personal growth and character development in children while strengthening their social, academic and physical skills.
• Maintain positive relationships through effective communication with children, parents, staff, supervisor and host school principal and staff.
• Attend staff meetings, supervision and professional development trainings.
