About The Position

Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am-9:30am AND 1:00pm-6:00pm. Year round position. Performance Criteria: Staffing: Assigning staff to age groups for the afternoons, Assigning weekly jobs, Training on curriculum and every day duties Children: Keeping them safe, supervising, friendly interactions, planning fun learning activities, providing guidance, being a role model Office Work: Emailing other supervisors, parents, and teachers, filling accident/behavior reports, keeping child information up to date, planning curriculums, filling out DHS requirements Environment: Tornado and fire drills, watching weather and planning appropriately, cleaning toys, planning fun and safe experiences, maintaining a clean and safe environment Planning: Curriculum, no school days, gym games, crafts, drills, cooking, STEM, strategies for children’s behavior

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent, required

Nice To Haves

  • Two to four year degree
  • 2 years experience in child care industry
