About The Position

The Assistant Center Director at The Learning Experience is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the childcare center while ensuring a happy and safe environment for children to learn and grow. This role involves building relationships with families, overseeing financial performance, and supporting the teaching team to deliver high-quality programs. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a Lead Teacher or Center leadership role within a childcare center.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines with a commitment to maintaining full compliance.
• Level 2 Credential Required; Level 3 Credential Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center leadership team in managing the day-to-day operations of the center.
• Drive financial performance and productivity for all operational aspects of the center.
• Effectively manage labor and approve all final work schedules to ensure appropriate ratios are maintained.
• Forecast future enrollment based on annual graduation.
• Manage center inventory including office supplies, food, curriculum, and staff recognition items.
• Manage all vendor relationships and organize facilities maintenance and technology support.
• Ensure parent billings, account receivables, and collections are accurate and precise.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the teaching team to ensure high-quality programs and services are delivered.
• Work in the classroom as needed to ensure a safe and nurturing learning experience for children.
• Support the Center leadership team in managing the center's budget and financial planning.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, ensuring the center meets all licensing requirements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with families, keeping them informed and engaged in their child's learning and development.
