About The Position

Neulife Rehabiliation of Florida seeking a patient, attentive, and dependable Child Care Assistant to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• One year of childcare or rehabilitation experience preferred
• Knowledge of child development stages
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the day
• Valid immunization record and ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to complete required training and compliance coursework

Nice To Haves

• One year of childcare or rehabilitation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care including feeding, diapering, grooming, and supervising children
• Establish routines and support age-appropriate learning, behavior, and social skills
• Monitor children's health, safety, and emotional well-being and report concerns
• Prepare children for the next stage of care or school readiness
• Introduce children to activities such as art, music, and play-based learning
• Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing toys, rooms, and play areas
• Keep accurate childcare records and communicate progress with parents
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards
