About The Position

This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to establish an applicant pool. As vacancies occur, they are filled from the pool.

Requirements

• ECE degree/classes and/or experience in child care desirable.
• All employees who are 18 years of age and older are required to submit finger prints to local and federal repositories for background checks prior to start date.
• Employees must take the State of Nevada required initial training within the first 90 days of employment.
• Employees must take annual hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related subjects every licensing year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Organizing activities with the children in accordance with the curriculum as prepared by the Head Teacher.
• Prepare materials for the Teacher for planned activities.
• Diapering and potty training as necessary.
• Aide Teacher in cleaning classroom.
• Other duties as assigned which may include but are not limited to: a) Cleaning. up CDC kitchen and b) Organizing CDC kitchen and supplies.
