Overview Children’s Mercy is seeking an experienced Acute Mental Health Provider to deliver crisis-focused care to children and adolescents ages 2–17. This role includes mental health assessments, safety and suicide risk evaluations, and brief therapeutic interventions. Providers support crisis stabilization, safety planning, and appropriate treatment referrals. Care is delivered in the Emergency Mental Health Crisis Center and CMH Emergency Departments. The provider works closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, trauma‑informed, patient‑centered care, with flexibility to support other Child and Family Mental Health areas as needed.
