About The Position
The Arapahoe County Department of Human Services (ACDHS) is dedicated to building strong communities by promoting the safety, independence, and stability of individuals and families. The department employs an integrated Two-Generation (2Gen) approach to address the basic human services needs of entire family units, focusing on high-quality services in areas such as early childhood education, adult education and employment pathways, economic security, health and well-being, and social capital. This internship is designed for college students and recent graduates with a passion for helping others, particularly in the field of Child Welfare. Interns will learn how caseworkers engage and support vulnerable children and families, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of child and adult protection services.
