About The Position

MAKE A LASTING IMPACT IN THE LIVES OF YOUTH Evening Availability Required (Minimum 3 Evenings per Week) Are you passionate about helping children and teens navigate mental health and substance use challenges? We are seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices. This role primarily serves children and adolescents and requires evening availability at least three times per week to meet the needs of youth and families. $59,500 unlicensed $64,200 licensed

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related human service field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct therapy in mental health, substance use, or IDD settings.
  • LPC, LCSW, or LMFT preferred.
  • Must be license-eligible and actively working toward clinical licensure if not yet fully licensed.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
  • ACT 33/34 clearances (if required by program).
  • FBI clearance (as applicable).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments and make treatment recommendations.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions.
  • Address mental health and substance use disorders in a developmentally appropriate manner.
  • Collaborate with families to strengthen support systems and improve outcomes.
  • Maintain a consistent caseload of children and adolescents engaged in treatment.
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans in accordance with funder and program guidelines.
  • Track clinical documentation and required paperwork to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings to review treatment progress and discharge planning.
  • Work closely with program support staff to identify and secure additional services and resources.
  • Communicate with schools, counselors, teachers, and other providers as appropriate.
  • Support families in coordinating care across settings.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Ensure all records meet agency, licensing, and funding requirements.
