Job Title: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Mansfield Center, CT Service Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: 05/25/2026 – 08/01/2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: Day shifts during scheduled coverage blocks
Requirements
- Active Connecticut medical license
- Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- DEA: As required by facility
- Certifications: As required by facility
- Inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry experience required
Nice To Haves
- Willingness to provide outpatient care if needed
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care for child and adolescent patients
- Manage daily caseload including admissions and discharges
- Complete a minimum of two discharges per day when clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
