We are seeking a motivated psychologist or clinical social worker to join our Ada, Michigan clinic in a specialty-track role focused on building advanced competency and long-term leadership in Selective Mutism treatment. This position is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about evidence-based care, eager for mentorship, and excited about becoming deeply skilled in a niche area of pediatric mental health. Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology or social work
  • Must hold (or be eligible for) Michigan LP, LLP, TLLP, LMSW
  • Training and experience in CBT/behavioral therapy and parent-focused interventions
  • Passion for working with children and families

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Selective Mutism preferred, but not required —Thriving Minds provides extensive training and mentorship to develop expertise

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based therapy to children and adolescents (ages 3–20)
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 20–25 clients
  • Focus on the assessment and treatment of Selective Mutism, along with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, and behavioral challenges
  • Coach and support parents throughout treatment
  • Collaborate with schools and provide consultation to educators and staff
  • Engage in ongoing learning and consultation
