RTC Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist Position in Coastal Savannah, GA
About The Position
Coastal Harbor Health System’s Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program (PRTP) offers an inpatient treatment option for adolescents and children struggling with ongoing behavioral, emotional and/or psychiatric problems. Our youth treatment facilities are designed specifically for youth age 7 – 17 is the best treatment option for children whose behavioral issues have persisted despite acute or outpatient interventions. Position Overview: Role: Child/Adolescent Residential Treatment Position Patient Population: Child/Adolescent ages 7-17 Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours. Weekend Coverage: 1:4 Saturday/Sunday in-person rounding. Weekday Call: One evening call shift per week by phone only. Employment Type: Full-time employed position. Additional earnings potential: Extra call options and Productivity Bonus Plan.
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and Child/Adolescent fellowship program.
- Georgia medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
