About The Position

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is a 105-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Historic Conway SC Just miles from the Beaches of Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, CD Rehab and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital. The therapist is responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community. Assists law enforcement, family members and others with the admission process, both voluntary and involuntary. Makes referrals to community resources as appropriate. Coordinates discharge planning through the medical staff. The therapist is expected to function as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the community relations program of the organization. Participates in continuous performance improvement activities. Communicates with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers.

Requirements

• MS/MSW/Licensed preferred.
• Experience working with child and adolescent populations.

Responsibilities
