About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Child Outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our BayCare Behavioral Health team in Clearwater, FL. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with no call requirements, and will split time between our Clearwater and St. Petersburg outpatient offices. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. We are the largest full-service, community-based health care system in the Tampa Bay area and offer a variety of services in Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties. We provide a full range of comprehensive services for mental health and addiction issues tailored to meet the needs of children, adults and families.

Requirements

Board certified as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
At least 2 years’ of experience in the role of PMHNP post-Master's.

Responsibilities

Provides psychiatric services to individuals with mental health diagnoses, including persons who have co-occurring disorders (MH SA).
Conducts psychiatric evaluations and follow-up management in a variety of treatment settings to the targeted populations.
Works under supervision of a psychiatric protocol.
Provides clinical consultation to medical services staff and other treatment team members.
