Nemours is seeking a 5 days/week (32 hours) Child Life Activity Coordinator to join the team! The Child Life Activity Coordinator is responsible for (1) plan and execute daily activities and special events that are recreational as well as therapeutic for patients and their families while adhering to all safety and infection prevention guidelines (2) support and assist with the planning of proper staffing coordination of Associates and Volunteer resources for activities and special events, and (3) promote family centered care and patient/family experience through engagement in activities and events. In collaboration with department leadership, the Child Life Activity Coordinator contributes as a member of the child life team to annual goals, projects and programs. Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned by employee’s manager. Nemours Children’s Health is an internationally recognized children’s health system.
