Requirements

  • Must have current ARRT certification with State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • Must have experience working in a high-volume setting.
  • Must be well seasoned with 5+ years leadership experience.
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have BLS certification.
  • Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations.
  • You demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
  • You have a structured work-approach, understand complex problems and you are able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Site Supervisor/Assistant Manager and Site or Operations/Area Manager with directing activities of technical staff.
  • Responsible for coordinating and supervising daily activities of technologists.
  • Responsible for keeping Site Supervisor/Assistant Manager or Area Manager aware of conditions and activities which positively and negatively impact back office operations.
  • Respond to questions, needs and concerns of techs as designated by supervisor.
  • Respond to needs and concerns of all patients and referring physicians.
  • Responsible for providing courteous and professional technical procedures/exams to all incoming patients.
  • Respond to patient questions and concerns, regarding exam procedures and process, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality about diagnosis.
  • Responsible for all paperwork associated with technical procedures. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patient procedures.
