About the position

The Chief Technologist is responsible for modality area staff observation while ensuring cost effective, high quality imaging services in the modality area. Modeling and accomplishing the goals, core values, and essential job functions along with oversight of regulatory and professional standards that together support and maintain a patient and family centered focused service.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program in an AMA approved school.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • Demonstrated creativity and ability to guide others through change.
  • Ability to build positive, constructive relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Licensed by the State of Florida to work in MRI and an ARRT credential in MRI.
  • Licensed by the State of Florida to work in CT and an ARRT credential in CT.
  • Licensed by the State of Florida to work in US and an ARDMS credential.
  • Licensed by the State of Florida to work in NM and an NMTCB credential.
  • Licensed by the State of Florida to work in DG (Radiography) and an ARRT credential in Diagnostic Radiology.
