About The Position

The Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer (CSIO) is responsible for leading the implementation of the company's strategy and innovation efforts by formulating robust, cost-effective measures, and results-focused outcomes that drive alignment, and monitoring the execution of the strategies against plan. Responsible for assisting the President and CEO with aligning the strategy with the organization's innovation portfolio and roadmap in order to drive top line growth.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in healthcare or business Administration or related field required.
  • 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on managed care, innovation, and affordability strategies required.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading innovation and business transformation strategy and initiatives at a senior or C-Suite level required.
  • 5 years management experience at senior level (senior director, vice president).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the President and CEO to develop the short- and long-term strategic plans, innovation initiatives, and affordability (cost-savings) programs for the organization.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive innovation strategy that aligns with Community Health Choices mission to provide affordable, high-quality care.
  • Oversee the execution of all strategic plans.
  • Responsible for executive oversight of strategic plans for major departments in the organization.
  • Monitor mid-year and annual progress, milestones, and achievements in alignment with the organization's pillar goals and objectives.
  • Develop strategic and robust plan for Community's project management function and executive level oversight of all Board relations functions.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of healthcare trends, technologies, and policies to identify opportunities for innovation and enhance service offerings.
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and financial teams to integrate innovative solutions into existing processes and improve overall care delivery.
  • Perform outside-in thinking and cultivate meaningful relationships with providers, community organizations, external business partners, and regulatory entities to drive collaboration and support for innovation initiatives for the organization.
  • Establish and track KPIs to assess the impact of innovation efforts and ensure ongoing improvement in health outcomes and affordability.
  • Oversee the budget for innovation initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact.
  • Actively contributes to achievement of division goals, as identified in Department's annual business plan, including specific departmental process improvement plans, and other duties as assigned.
