News Corp is seeking a Chief Security and Safety Officer (SVP) to serve as the enterprise-wide leader for global physical security, health, safety, and resilience functions. The SVP acts as the company’s primary authority on physical security, workplace safety, crisis and incident management, investigations, executive protection, travel and event security, and business continuity, ensuring consistent global standards while enabling local execution. This role is both highly strategic and operationally grounded, requiring executive presence, strong judgment, and deep subject-matter expertise. The role interfaces with each Business Unit's Health, Safety, Security functions and also has direct accountability for the Safety and Security of Harper Collins, Relator, The New York Post, HQ, The Sun and The Times US, and Storyful business units day to day. This role is also accountable for managing the 24/7 Global Security Operations Centre for the company. This role reports to the Global Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) providing insight into enterprise risk posture, preparedness, and emerging threats relevant to a global media organization.
