About The Position

The position at Connexus Credit Union involves leading the strategic and business planning efforts of the organization. The role is focused on maximizing member value through effective management of various teams, including Business Technology, Collections, Compliance, Audit, and Legal. The executive will also be responsible for risk mitigation strategies, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity and compliance, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a financial institution or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of credit union operations and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cybersecurity and technology systems management.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and fraud prevention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies and ensure execution of the strategic plan and business plan.
• Lead and manage key members of the executive team to determine goals and drive organizational results.
• Champion organizational culture and values as a member of the executive team.
• Participate in Executive Team and Board of Directors functions, committees, and meetings.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for Business Technology, Collections, Compliance, Audit, and Legal teams.
• Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies in support of the business plan and strategic direction.
• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory examinations performed by NCUA and DFI-OCU.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures in accordance with credit union strategies.
