The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a pivotal role directly influencing the future of our organization’s new business sales, customer success, marketing, and partnerships. The CRO will scale and lead our impact and reach strategic initiatives by focusing on exceeding ambitious sales goals, and uncovering new opportunities, while building a scalable sales and marketing engine. The CRO will report to and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the senior executive team, and directly manage the Managing Directors and Sr. Directors of Sales & Marketing in strategically executing the go-to-market strategy and aligned strategic priorities. The CRO is required to have extensive district relationships and an understanding of state and district level sales strategy to propel the OUR brand. The CRO will bring a track record of transforming revenue operations for scale. This individual will design and execute a go-to-market strategy adoption of the OUR portfolios, with a focus on impact and sustainable growth. Our ideal candidate is a mission-driven C-level sales leader with an energetic passion for transformation within education, a strong K-12 background, demonstrated strategic K-12 sales and marketing experience leading multiple teams. The Chief Revenue Officer will have deep knowledge of cross-channel marketing, native advertising, programmatic, and the latest trends in digital advertising. The ideal leader will listen first, exhibit dedication for the Open Up mission, and recognize that personal as well as team productivity is the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, collaborative teamwork, and focused effort. In addition, the CRO position requires strong financial, analytical, and modeling expertise.
