About The Position
The Chief Radio Electronics Technician (CRET) is a critical role within the Military Sealift Command (MSC), responsible for overseeing the Communications Department on naval auxiliaries and hybrid-manned warships. This position requires a strong background in electronic systems and communication protocols, ensuring the operational readiness of shipboard communication systems in both peacetime and wartime scenarios. The CRET will manage technical personnel, maintain compliance with security protocols, and provide training and technical assistance to ensure effective communication operations.
