About The Position

The Chief Planner at the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC) is responsible for leading the Planning, Evaluation, and Compliance Branch. This role involves overseeing housing and land use planning functions, managing the real property portfolio, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements, and coordinating legislative and fair housing activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in urban or regional planning, public administration, real estate, economics, business, or related fields.
  • Five years of progressively complex responsible experience in research and analysis for planning and policy formulation.
  • Knowledge of public planning principles and practices, including socio-economic research methods.
  • Experience in real property management and understanding of real estate market trends.
  • Three years of professional supervisory experience.
