About The Position

The Chief People Officer (CPO) is an executive leader responsible for shaping and overseeing HRSD's people strategy, including talent management, culture, and overall employee experience by developing and implementing strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering an equitable and respectful work environment. This role ensures compliance with HRSD policies and regulations, promotes workplace safety, and leads initiatives for employee engagement and professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business management, administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Talent Management or leadership experience in a utility, service, or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a proven ability to improve an organization through innovative talent management.
• Significant experience working in a team environment, and using quality principles and participative management.
• Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively throughout the entire organization.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in business management, administration, or related field.
• Extensive experience (10 or more years) working in an executive leadership position in the talent management field.
• Experience in establishing and monitoring performance metrics.
• Certifications - Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
