About The Position

As the Chief People Officer, you will be the architect of our agency’s culture and the primary driver of our talent strategy. In a high-growth marketing environment, our "product" is the creativity and expertise of our people. You will ensure that we are not just hiring the best in the industry, but building an ecosystem where they can thrive, innovate, and deliver world-class work for our clients. You will sit on the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, balancing high-level organizational design with the human-centric needs of a creative workforce.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive HR/People leadership, with at least 3 years in an executive-level role (VP or CPO).
  • Data-Informed: You use People Analytics to identify trends, but you lead with empathy and intuition.
  • Agile Mindset: You are comfortable with ambiguity and can pivot quickly as the agency scales or the market shifts.
  • Communication: An exceptional storyteller who can influence at the board level and connect with junior creatives alike.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a Creative Agency, Professional Services, or Tech-Marketing environment is highly preferred. You understand the "billable hour" model and the unique pressures of client services.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Talent Planning
  • Develop and execute a holistic People Strategy that aligns with the agency’s long-term business goals.
  • Lead workforce planning and organizational design to ensure we have the right talent density to meet client demands.

  • Performance & Growth (The "Career Lab")
  • Reimagine performance management, moving away from rigid annual reviews toward a culture of continuous feedback and coaching.
  • Build a robust Learning & Development (L&D) program tailored to the fast-paced marketing landscape (e.g., AI, creative leadership, data analytics).
  • Define clear career paths for creative, account, and technical tracks.
  • Culture & Employee Experience
  • Act as the guardian of the agency’s values, ensuring they are reflected in every touchpoint of the employee lifecycle.
  • Monitor organizational health through engagement surveys and sentiment analysis, taking proactive steps to prevent burnout in a high-pressure industry.
  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
  • Oversee the recruitment function to attract top-tier creative and strategic talent in a competitive market.
  • Partner with the marketing team to elevate our Employer Brand, making our agency a "destination agency" for industry leaders.
