We are seeking a dynamic, relationship driven Chief People Officer (CPO) to serve as both the cultural architect of our firm and a strategic growth leader for our data center consulting practice. This is not a traditional HR role it is a highly visible executive position that blends people leadership, brand ambassadorship, and relationship based sales. The CPO will act as an enterprise leader and market facing executive, driving employee engagement internally while elevating awareness, partnerships, and revenue opportunities externally. This individual will operate with a general manager mindset, functioning almost as a CEO for the Data Center Consulting Services line of business.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in:
  • Human Resources / People Leadership and
  • Client facing or relationship driven roles (consulting, partnerships, business development, or sales)
  • Track record of influencing executives and building long term strategic partnerships
  • Experience leading through growth, transformation, or scaling environments
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence at C-suite level
  • Strong business acumen and comfort owning revenue adjacent goals
  • Deep understanding of employee engagement, culture building, and leadership development
  • Natural connector who builds trust quickly across internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic storyteller who can translate people strategy into business value

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the data center, mission critical infrastructure, or technology services industry strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the executive sponsor and strategic leader for the Data Center Consulting Services practice
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to define growth strategy, service expansion, and market positioning
  • Own pipeline visibility and relationship development with key industry partners, operators, hyperscalers, and enterprise clients
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings as a senior ambassador of our brand
  • Build and maintain executive level relationships across the data center ecosystem
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and trusted advisor relationships
  • Collaborate with consulting leaders to translate client needs into service offerings and solutions
  • Drive awareness of our firm’s expertise through thought leadership, speaking engagements, and industry engagement
  • Develop and execute a people engagement strategy aligned to growth goals
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen culture, belonging, and employee experience across consulting teams
  • Coach leaders on performance, engagement, and team effectiveness
  • Ensure talent strategy supports service line expansion, including workforce planning and leadership development
  • Position the firm as an employer of choice within the data center industry
  • Align internal culture with external brand ensuring employees are connected to the mission and market impact
  • Support recruiting and retention by actively engaging with industry talent networks
  • Lead and scale EVOCS’ U.S.-based Staffing Practice, including contract-to-hire engagements.
  • Own operational and strategic performance of staffing services delivered to clients.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies to expand staffing revenue within the data center ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships to generate new staffing and consulting opportunities.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery, client satisfaction, and repeat business within staffing engagements.
  • Partner with recruiting teams to ensure fulfillment excellence and margin optimization.
  • Serve as executive owner of U.S. HR compliance across staffing and consulting operations.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Oversee employment classification standards, contractor compliance, and labor law alignment.
  • Partner with legal and finance teams to mitigate employment risk.
  • Establish compliance frameworks that support scalable U.S. growth.
