About The Position
The Chief People Officer (CPO) for MUSC Charleston Division will lead the HR function for the Charleston Division, including the Orangeburg location. This role involves assessing and determining the current and future needs of the HR function and team, transforming the traditional HR service delivery model into a contemporary, strategic, high-impact HR operating model. The CPO will work collaboratively across MUSC to develop and communicate people plans and human capital strategies in support of organizational objectives. This position is a key member of the Executive Leadership Council and is responsible for achieving organizational goals, implementing strategic initiatives, and leading day-to-day operations for a capable and engaged care team member community.
