The Chief Operations Officer (COO) serves as a peer member of the firm’s executive leadership team operating under an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework. The executive team collectively leads firm strategy and execution. The COO is accountable for operational excellence, scalability, process discipline, and measurable performance across all practice areas and locations. The COO partners with executive peers to translate firm strategy into operational outcomes, including reduction of cycle time, time-on-desk, cost per case, and improvement of client satisfaction. Executive Governance – EOS Structure Level 1 – Vision & Governance: Partners / Executive Committee set long-term direction, capital priorities, and strategic objectives. Level 2 – EOS L10 Executive Team (Peer Model): • Chief Operating Officer (COO) • Chief Information Officer (CIO) • Chief Financial Officer (CFO) • Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) • Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) • Chief Sales Officer (CSO) • Chief Legal Officer (CLO) The L10 team meets weekly to review scorecards, solve issues (IDS), align priorities, and execute quarterly rocks. No single executive leads the team hierarchically; the COO is responsible for operational domains while strategic direction remains shared. Level 3 – Department Execution Tier: Operations departments heads, i.e. Managing Paralegals and similar positions report operationally to the COO and execute defined KPIs and workflows. Attorneys report legally to the CLO. AI & Technology Framework (Peer Model) Technology and AI initiatives will focus on measurable business outcomes: • Reduce case cycle times • Reduce time-on-desk per case • Lower cost per case • Improve client satisfaction All deployments require governance, quality control, and performance measurement.
