The National Ability Center (NAC) empowers individuals with disabilities through adaptive recreation and outdoor adventure programs. With three campuses in Utah and a 40-year history, NAC serves as a national leader in adaptive recreation. The organization is at a pivotal growth stage, focusing on expanding its nationwide impact and optimizing program demand and revenue. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive responsible for overseeing daily operations, demand planning, technology systems, and operational processes that drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and organizational scalability. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO ensures the organization’s infrastructure, systems, and programs function seamlessly in alignment with its strategic vision and mission. This role also leads the organization’s digital transformation – requiring strong technological fluency and the ability to implement modern systems that improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience. The COO will help foster a high-performance, data-driven culture focused on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and enterprise risk management. This is an in-person role with the possibility for remote work 1-2 days a week depending on operational needs of the organization.
