About The Position

The position involves providing daily oversight of health center operations and direction to Department Directors/Managers. The role requires streamlining overall operations for efficiency, quality, and patient-centeredness, collaborating with providers and staff towards operational improvements, and meeting accreditation and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, CFO, Medical Director, and leadership team to develop annual operating plans and corresponding budgets, assist in new clinical program development, and support innovative technology initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care delivery. The position also includes analyzing and implementing practices to improve operating performance, leading process improvement events, and coordinating with related departments to ensure effective information flow and understanding of overall process improvement direction.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of 638 or IHS Contracting Program and organizational structure.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Ability to perform well in group problem-solving situations.
  • Ability to deliver effective training and presentations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with supervisors and managers.
  • Skill in applying complex fact-finding, analytical and problem-solving methods.
  • Skill in analyzing and interpreting qualification standards and regulations.
  • Basic levels of computer literacy, with functional understanding of Microsoft Windows.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years minimum progressive supervisory experience.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a health care related field.
  • Minimum of four years executive/senior level leadership in healthcare services.
  • Demonstrated ability leading change and building high functioning teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the CEO to advance the organization's Strategic Plan and implement new services.
  • Assist the CEO with facility expansions and property acquisitions.
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement practices to improve operating performance.
  • Lead assigned process improvement events using team building and project management methods.
  • Monitor the progress of planned improvement implementation and ensure timely action.
  • Coordinate with related departments to ensure appropriate information flow.
