About The Position

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Dartmouth Health at Home provides senior operational, financial, and implementation leadership for Dartmouth Health’s home-based care portfolio, including the Hospital at Home (H@H) program and the broader Dartmouth Health at Home initiative. The COO is responsible for building the operational infrastructure required to design, launch, and scale hospital-level and longitudinal care delivered in the home. This includes operational strategy, financial planning, workforce development, regulatory compliance, and program implementation. The COO will ultimately be the final responsible party overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Health at Home program, of which Hospital at Home is a subset. Working in close partnership with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) dyad, the COO ensures that clinical strategy is translated into operationally reliable, financially sustainable, and scalable care delivery models. The COO coordinates efforts across the Department of Medicine, Visiting Nurse and Hospice (VNH), The Dartmouth Institute (TDI), and health system operational partners to ensure Dartmouth Health at Home functions as an integrated program.
