About The Position
The Chief Operating Officer/CSBO holds a critical senior leadership position in the district and is responsible for developing yearly balanced budgets, five year projections, tax levies, monthly budget updates and analysis, spending trends, investment results, future capital funding needs and attendance impact models for the Superintendent and Board of Education. Provide leadership to the transportation, human resources, technology, business services, safety, buildings & grounds, and finance departments. Responsible for reducing fixed costs and liabilities; implementing tight financial controls to reduce wasteful spending; aligning district resources to the organizational priorities; improving operational support for schools.
