We're looking for a Chief of Staff to serve as the strategic operating backbone of Blitzy. You'll work directly with our founders and leadership team to drive clarity, execution, and accountability across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution—translating vision into reality through structured thinking, data-driven decision-making, and relentless follow-through. You'll own the company's operating rhythm, lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, and tackle the most complex, ambiguous problems that don't have clear owners. This isn't a traditional Chief of Staff role focused on calendar management—you'll be a strategic operator who builds systems, drives decisions, and accelerates our growth trajectory from Series A toward Series B and beyond. This role is ideal for someone with a Tier-1 consulting background or portfolio operations experience who thrives on structure, excels at communication, and can navigate the controlled chaos of hypergrowth.

  • Establish and run the company's operating rhythm—leadership meetings, quarterly planning, goal tracking, and cross-team alignment run like clockwork
  • Create visibility into the business through dashboards and metrics that drive better, faster decisions
  • Eliminate friction between teams, ensuring GTM and Engineering are coordinated with clear reporting and workstreams
  • Execute high-stakes strategic projects—market analysis, pricing strategy, investor materials, operational improvements—at both high quality and high speed
  • Multiply leadership effectiveness by managing cross-functional complexity and removing blockers
  • Make the organization more predictable, data-driven, and scalable as we grow
  • Become the go-to person for "how do we actually get this done?" across the company
  • Design and run company operating rhythm: weekly exec meetings, quarterly business reviews, OKR planning cycles
  • Build dashboards and reporting frameworks that give leadership real-time visibility into business performance
  • Identify process gaps and operational inefficiencies, implementing improvements that drive clarity and speed
  • Own the company's project tracking and decision-making infrastructure
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives that span departments and require tight coordination
  • Manage major internal projects from conception through execution and measurement
  • Track and communicate progress, risks, blockers, and key decisions across the organization
  • Ensure nothing critical falls through the cracks
  • Partner with revenue leadership on pipeline analysis, forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Support creation of enterprise proposals, commercial packages, and strategic sales collateral
  • Coordinate customer-facing strategic initiatives including POCs, pilots, and enterprise expansions
  • Help translate product capabilities into compelling business value for enterprise buyers
  • Conduct operational, financial, market, and competitive analyses to inform strategy
  • Build structured memos, decision documents, and frameworks for leadership discussions
  • Prepare Board-level materials and investor updates alongside Finance and Operations
  • Synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
  • Own time-sensitive, strategically critical workstreams as the company scales
  • Lead ambiguous, undefined projects that need structure and execution
  • Stand up new workflows, systems, or processes where gaps exist
  • Solve the hardest, most complex problems that don't have obvious owners
  • 3-5 years at a Tier-1 consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or 2-4 years in late-stage VC/PE portfolio operations, or equivalent experience in strategy/operations at a high-growth tech startup
  • Exceptional analytical skills with ability to structure complex problems and synthesize insights
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication—you can distill complex topics for any audience
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects in fast-moving environments
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of SaaS business models and enterprise sales
  • Demonstrated ability to create structure and clarity in high-ambiguity situations
  • Comfortable with data analysis and building dashboards/reporting frameworks
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives and Board members
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change—priorities will shift and you'll need to adapt quickly
  • Ability to context-switch between strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Exceptional judgment about what matters most and what can wait
  • Willingness to get hands-on when needed—no task is below you
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to deeply understand the business
  • Low ego and high output approach—you care about impact, not credit
  • Excitement about building something transformative from the ground up
  • MBA from a top-tier program
  • Previous Chief of Staff or similar strategic operating role at a startup
  • Experience at a Series A-C stage company during hypergrowth
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and go-to-market strategy
  • Background in AI/ML or developer tools companies
  • Track record of driving operational improvements that resulted in measurable business impact
  • Experience building and scaling operating systems from the ground up
  • Technical fluency that enables productive conversations with engineering teams
  • Competitive base salary ($150K-$200K based on experience)
  • Meaningful equity in a fast-growing AI startup
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family
  • 401(k) with generous company match
  • Flexible PTO with minimum time off requirements
  • Professional development budget
  • Top-tier equipment and home office setup allowance
  • Direct exposure to leadership decision-making and Board-level strategy
  • Opportunity to shape how a company scales from Series A to B and beyond
  • The rare experience of building operating systems that will be studied by future operators
