Sharon Chang is an artist, founder, and investor whose work sits at the intersection of creative practice, social impact, and experimental project development. She convenes collaborators across disciplines (artists, technologists, advisors, and builders) to explore ideas that range from intimate inquiries to ambitious ventures designed to shape more beautiful futures. Her office, Dream Office of Imaginary Friends (DOIF), was first envisioned to be a hybrid of family office and art studio. Over time, it organically evolved into an ecosystem of projects and resources to support Sharon’s pursuit in building more beautiful futures. This ecosystem is both creative and operational, fluid and complex. The Chief of Staff plays a central role in making it coherent, functional, and forward-moving. Sharon works at a measured, non-linear pace and values the process as much as the outcome. This requires a Chief of Staff who can move fluidly between intensity and stillness by bringing both structure and softness to the role. Some projects are audacious and expansive; others are intimate and near invisible. Together, they form a landscape that is dynamic, unconventional, and deeply personal.
