About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Chief of Staff to partner closely with our COO and drive strategic projects that contribute significant leverage to our strategy & operations teams. The role will start as an individual contributor (IC) with a plan to graduate into leading a team within 18 months. You will work hands-on across GTM, customer operations, and worker operations to remove bottlenecks, provide product insights, and own reporting out progress to the Executive team & entire company. This is a unique opportunity to partner with leadership and drive meaningful change as we continue to scale our business.

Requirements

  • Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7+ years in operations, strategy, or management roles, preferably in a startup or a notable marketplace company.
  • Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams, with an emphasis on driving operational excellence and team growth.
  • Detail-oriented: Process-driven mindset with a high level of accuracy, organization, and a desire for operational excellence.
  • Proficient in SQL,no-code tools like Retool, and data visualization software like Omni or Power BI or highly analytical with aptitude to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Refine playbook and develop new initiatives on sales enablement and efficiency.
  • Design and Build Operations: lead the development of our upselling motion, basing all of our tactics in our customer’s needs and pain.
  • Define New Processes: Play a key role in defining processes essential for the launch and sustainability of new markets.
  • Collaborate for Product Excellence: Partner closely with the product team to implement automated solutions that deliver a magical customer and worker experience, streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Work Closely with Leadership: this role will be reporting to the COO and provide leverage by focusing on the biggest priorities while owning the tracking and reporting of progress.
  • Hands-on and Field-focused: Embrace a hands-on approach initially, requiring travel during the first six months to engage directly with customers, gather insights, and relay learnings back to the team.
