About The Position

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s Affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals | Queens is seeking a physician leader to join our team as the Chief of Orthopedics. This position is focused on leading the delivery of high-quality care for all musculoskeletal conditions, serving culturally diverse communities in Queens, New York.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Orthopedics.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a diverse community setting.
  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty of Orthopedics.
  • Research experience in Orthopedic Surgery.
