About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related health care field.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • 10+ years of progressive management experience in Nursing and Patient Care Services.
  • 3 years of experience in Administration or nurse executive position in a similar or larger facility.
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to work well with diverse populations.
  • Knowledgeable in human resources administration and quality improvement.
  • Effective budgetary planning and administrative skills.
  • Strong supervisory, management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related health care field.
  • Effective public speaking skills and ability to conduct presentations.
  • Knowledge of accounting methods and interpretation of statistical data.

Responsibilities

  • Administers nursing operations and evaluates patient care programs.
  • Participates in long-range planning and strategic initiatives for patient care services.
  • Plans and implements patient care programs based on regulatory standards and research findings.
  • Develops organization-wide patient care policies and procedures.
  • Ensures sufficient qualified nursing staff to meet patient care requirements.
  • Implements ongoing performance improvement programs in collaboration with other departments.
  • Supports training and competency programs for nursing staff.
  • Utilizes team-building strategies to enhance communication and problem-solving.
  • Coordinates and manages the annual budget for patient care departments.
  • Participates in policy decisions affecting patient care services.
