About the position

Greater Seacoast Community Health (GSCH) is seeking a dynamic Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide strategic leadership and oversight for our patient care services, reporting to CEO. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, the CNO will drive clinical excellence, enhance patient outcomes, and ensure the highest standards of care across our diverse healthcare programs, including Goodwin Community Health, Families First Health Center, school-based clinical services, mobile health initiatives, and triage nursing. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all nursing and patient care services.
  • Develop and implement innovative patient care programs, policies, and best practices to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence, professional development, and accountability.
  • Partner with senior leadership and medical staff to drive organizational goals, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management for nursing services to optimize efficiency and sustainability.
  • Ensure a patient-centered approach to care, emphasizing safety, access, and seamless coordination across departments.
  • Represent GSCH in community, professional, and public forums to enhance partnerships and outreach efforts.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree (MSN, MHA, or related field) preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and financial management.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
