About The Position

Overview Serve as a leader for division nursing operations. Responsible for the success of the patient care departments, recruitment and retention strategies for nursing personnel, continuing education for nursing personnel, regulatory compliance, standards of care, and policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the coordination of the delivery of high quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations. Work collaboratively with other Vice Presidents, Medical Staff, and Leadership in the fulfillment of the quality improvement action plan for clinical effectiveness. Sentara RMH Medical Center, located in Harrisonburg, VA, is a 238-bed community hospital serving a seven-county area with a population of close to 218,000 residents throughout the Shenandoah Valley. Our facility has proudly served this community since 1912, beginning as Rockingham Memorial Hospital, and evolving to Sentara RMH Medical Center after joining the Sentara Healthcare system in 2011. Requirements

  • Master's of Business or Healthcare Administration requires BSN education.
  • 3 years of management experience to include at least 2 years in a 24/7 nursing operations area
