About The Position
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) provides executive clinical leadership for the MemorialCare Medical Foundation (MCMF) using medical, organizational, interpersonal, and business management skills, to build alignment and integration amongst the physicians and providers with the goal of building and scaling an aligned clinical and organizational voice. The CMO directs, plans, and coordinates activities of the physicians, advance practice providers, and employees engaged in the delivery of medical care and medical management services. The CMO advises management and staff on medical policy and operations, recommends tactics to improve performance, quality of medical care, and the patient experience, and works to partner with physicians and providers to align with the goals of the organization. The CMO ensures providers comply with all legal and regulatory requirements and promotes and directs change, integration, and transformation of the outpatient care delivery system.
