About The Position

As our Chief Medical Officer (CMO), you will be a paramount strategic leader, providing skilled management and clinical oversight to ensure exceptional patient care quality, optimal resource utilization, and innovative service line development across the organization. Every day, you will drive effective planning and monitoring of patient care quality, resource utilization, and service line development. You'll provide physician oversight for critical functions like Quality Management, patient safety, and patient experience, while fostering positive relationships with the Medical Staff and assuming a facilitative role to support their leadership. You will establish policies and procedures, ensuring all services consistently meet organizational objectives and enhance overall institutional excellence. To be successful in this role, you will possess proven executive leadership experience, deep clinical expertise, exceptional strategic planning capabilities, and outstanding communication skills. Your ability to inspire, collaborate, and drive systemic improvements in a complex healthcare environment will be critical in advancing our mission of patient-centered care and operational excellence. Works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Oversees the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain compliance with TJC, HIPAA, and other accreditation standards. Participates in development and implementation of quality initiatives including patient access and satisfaction, provider satisfaction, clinical outcomes and process improvement, and guideline development. Works within the service area network to identify and evaluate outstanding physicians and physician groups for participation in the provider network. Participates in strategic plan and business plan development including identification of strategic partners, growth and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Doctor Of Medicine and Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in specialty., upon hire or Doctor Of Osteopathy and Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in specialty., upon hire
  • Minimum of five years (5) of management experience in health care
  • Doctor of Medicine: CA, upon hire or Doctor Osteopathic Medicine: CA, upon hire
  • Fire Safety, within 90 Days
