About The Position

We're actively hiring a Chief Mate, for our LNG Tug Vanguard operations, in Savannah, GA. The duties include but are not limited to perform all duties and responsibilities of assisting in safe operation of tug under supervision of the Tug Master, follow safety procedures and guidelines pertaining to regulatory guidelines. Also responsible for deck duties pertaining to LNG barge to include but not limited to, making fast, stowing lines, painting, chipping, greasing deck equipment and following orders of the master of the vessel.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties and responsibilities of assisting in safe operation of tug under supervision of the Tug Master
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines pertaining to regulatory guidelines
• Responsible for deck duties pertaining to LNG barge to include but not limited to, making fast, stowing lines, painting, chipping, greasing deck equipment and following orders of the master of the vessel
