About The Position

As the Chief Manufacturing Officer at ProCaps Laboratories, you will be the driving force behind our nutraceutical manufacturing operations, leveraging your engineering and manufacturing expertise to lead high-performing teams in delivering excellence in quality and efficiency. This role is designed for a leader with a robust engineering foundation, who can elevate our manufacturing capabilities and support our mission of delivering high-quality nutritional products. You’ll shape the future of our production capabilities by optimizing end-to-end processes, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and implementing strategic initiatives that foster innovation. With a focus on operational leadership, team development, and cross-functional collaboration, your role will be instrumental in advancing our manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).
• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, ideally within the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical sectors, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role (Sr. Director or higher).
• Strong background in operational excellence, quality control, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced or startup environment.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and regulatory standards.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinking with a track record of implementing effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in MS Office and manufacturing software.
• Ability to translate vision into action, designing organizational structures and processes that align with ProCaps’ goals for the next 3-5 years.
• Proactive and results-driven mindset to prioritize projects, lead best practice initiatives, and drive the development of operational excellence programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.
• Implement best practices and innovative strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure the production of safe, effective, and compliant products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality processes and uphold industry regulations.
• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, innovation, and the adoption of manufacturing technologies.
• Lead and inspire a dynamic manufacturing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Assess and drive talent development to ensure the team is well-equipped for the evolving manufacturing landscape.
• Collaborate with the supply chain to streamline material sourcing, procurement, and distribution, ensuring a smooth and responsive supply chain.
• Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant standards, certifications, and legal requirements.
• Work closely with the Quality and Safety teams to navigate complex compliance landscapes.
