About The Position

BaRupOn LLC is seeking a seasoned infrastructure investment executive to serve as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), leading the capital formation strategy for a 450-megawatt utility-scale power plant and a broader portfolio of large-scale energy and infrastructure assets. This role is intended for a senior capital markets leader with a proven track record of structuring and closing $100M+ infrastructure transactions and engaging sovereign wealth funds, private equity, development finance institutions, and institutional investors. The CIO will function as the company’s principal financial architect and primary representative to the global investment community. About BaRupOn LLC BaRupOn is a multi-sector infrastructure and energy development company delivering utility-scale energy, complex civil infrastructure, and healthcare-related innovation projects. Our flagship 450MW power generation project represents the first phase of a broader infrastructure initiative designed to drive long-term economic and community impact. We operate at the intersection of project execution, institutional capital, and sustainable development. Core Mandate The CIO will design and execute the full capital stack strategy across equity, debt, blended finance, tax equity, and structured instruments. This executive will lead capital formation from initial investor engagement through financial close.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of senior experience in infrastructure investment, project finance, private equity, or capital markets
  • Demonstrated track record of raising and closing $100M+ energy or infrastructure transactions
  • Deep expertise in utility-scale power project finance and capital stack structuring
  • Established relationships with sovereign wealth funds, infrastructure funds, institutional LPs, or DFIs
  • Extensive experience leading investor negotiations and due diligence processes
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline (MBA, CFA, or equivalent preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive capital raise strategies for utility-scale energy and infrastructure assets
  • Structure equity, senior debt, mezzanine, tax equity, and blended finance instruments
  • Lead global investor engagement across sovereign wealth funds, private equity, institutional LPs, DFIs, and strategic capital partners
  • Drive negotiations, term sheet development, and financial close execution
  • Oversee project finance modeling, sensitivity analysis, and risk allocation frameworks
  • Structure PPA-aligned revenue models and infrastructure monetization pathways
  • Coordinate due diligence processes with legal counsel, technical advisors, independent engineers, and lenders
  • Ensure capital deployment structures align with U.S. securities regulations and investor mandates
  • Present investment theses, return models, and risk frameworks to boards and capital partners
  • Serve as primary spokesperson to the investment community
  • Advise executive leadership on capital allocation, portfolio strategy, and financing alternatives
  • Build and lead an internal capital markets and investor relations function
  • Establish institutional reporting standards and investor communications frameworks
