About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, with at least 5 years in an executive role supporting DoD or federal contracts.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise technology initiatives in logistics, sustainment, or defense environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics, and enterprise systems in regulated environments.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting USSOCOM, DoD, or other combatant commands is highly desirable.

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • ITIL, PMP, or Agile/Scrum certifications
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, FedRAMP, CMMC, and DFARS
  • Experience with DoD IT systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or DLA platforms

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the SOF GLSS IT strategy in alignment with USSOCOM objectives and contract deliverables.
  • Lead enterprise-wide modernization initiatives including secure cloud migration, automation, and digital integration of logistics and sustainment systems.
  • Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management across geographically dispersed program sites.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity mandates, including NIST 800-171, CMMC, DFARS 252.204-7012, and USSOCOM-specific directives.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments to support program efficiency and readiness.
  • Collaborate with logistics, engineering, program management, and government representatives to identify and implement mission-enabling technology solutions.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT service delivery, system uptime, and cybersecurity posture.
  • Lead and mentor IT teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technology-related audits, risk assessments, incident response, and government surveillance activities.
  • Support audit readiness and ensure accurate reporting across government platforms such as WAWF, PIEE, and DCMA systems.
