About The Position
The Chief Flight Instructor provides leadership, oversight, and instruction within AOPA's flight training initiatives. This role is responsible for the development, standardization, and quality control of flight training and familiarization programs delivered in AOPA-owned aircraft. The Chief Flight Instructor also manages a formation flight training and proficiency program. The position ensures training aligns with AOPA's mission to support and grow general aviation by maintaining high instructional standards, safety, and regulatory compliance.
